We encourage diversity in our students, making sure that beginners learn in a fun environment with teachers who are committed to making it a relaxed and enjoyable experience.  LaPont Language Centre is managed by dedicated professional linguists who offer a high standard of language tuition based on its dedication to quality and excellence in the delivery of Communicative Language teaching method. We have a delightful group of trained Native teachers who will instantly make you feel at home and comfortable with learning your chosen language. About Catherine Alapont, the founder: Creating and expanding Lapont Language Centre has been a very exciting project for me. I am an international citizen of the world, born into the French background and culture and travelled extensively with my family as a teenager. I developed a passion for learning languages, and I am now very fortunate to speak four languages fluently. I completed a BA Applied Linguistics in Valencia, Spain at the renowned Facultad de Filosofia y Letras.  Then, continued extensive studies in Applied Linguistics at the University of Lyon in France and advanced European Studies in Bruxelles. And I have found that the ability to communicate easily in many languages has opened doors for me around the world.  This experience gave me the credentials to work with the diplomatic Corp and the EU Delegation for many years, advising government representatives and diplomats on protocol and foreign language communications. Since 1995, I have been teaching languages internationally as well as conducting cross-cultural training in many countries, including:  ItalyFranceSpain & USA. I have organised European cross-cultural activity programs and I am proud to have received accolades for many projects including my contribution to the UN Diplomatic Language and Communications Programme in New York City. I look forward to welcoming you at our Language Centre.
